Steins;Gate Film Officially on the Way

Just as Steins;Gate producer Yoshinao Doi hinted, it was worth sticking around after the final episode of the TV series aired in Japan. It’s almost as if he knew what to expect! Following the show, both a clip and 5pb’s Chiyomaru Shikura announced that a film has been green-lit. More after the jump.

No more is known at the moment, but that’s probably enough for fans of Steins;Gate, which is simulcast on Crunchyroll. The rights to the home video release were also announced by FUNimation at Anime Expo in July.
