Author Yudai Debata—who serializes the manga in Kodansha’s Morning magazine to the tune of 19 collected volumes to date—also posted a celebratory illustration:
In the series, Gen Kinokura is a 34-year-old solo camper who prefers to camp on his own. This changes when he runs into 20-year-old beginner Shizuku Kusano, and the two end up becoming a duo of “solo camping.”
A live-action series is also on the way, with the first episode to air in Japan on January 9.
