Silver Spoon Manga Returns in January

Silver Spoon, the farming manga by Fullmetal Alchemist‘s Hiromu Arakawa, is preparing to end an extended hiatus. According to this year’s 52nd issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine, out now in Japan, serialization will continue in the 5th issue of next year, which is set to hit stands in Japan on January 27, 2016.

The first eight month hiatus was taken from August 2014 to April 2015 due to a family member’s illness. Three chapters were then published to wrap up volume 13, leading into another eight month hiatus after. Arakawa’s adaptation of The Heroic Legend of Arslan has continued steadily in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine along the way.
