
A new original TV anime is in the works at Aniplex and Sony, with SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes revealed for an October 2025 premiere. The series will air on Fuji TV in Japan, and you can see the announcement video below.

The anime has Fumiaki Maruto—the anime writer and light novel author behind Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend—overseeing and writing scripts, with Hidari (Fractale) handling original character designs

The story follows co-ed vocal unit SI-VIS, which is popular around the world and has a secret behind it. They’re really heroes who fight against a world-threatening calamity, gathering the power to fight through their live performances.
According to a previous teaser, the theme for the series will be “Music x Hero,” and Sony has selected vocal artists for the characters that will be revealed at a later date.
