Shaman King Flowers, the follow-up to the recent Shaman King remake anime, hits the airwaves starting on January 9. Ahead of its premiere, we’ve got a few screengrabs of episode 1, plus news of a Shaman King radio show.
The radio program is called Shaman King Kotodama Mode Flowers, and it’s set to stream on the platform Chō! A&G+ once a week starting January 13. Shaman King fans/Japanese speakers, keep your ears open for that one.
The new, pre-Flowers Shaman King series kicked off in 2021 and ran for 52 episodes. Here’s how Kodansha USA describes the original manga by Hiroyuki Takei:
Shamans possess mysterious powers that allow them to commune with gods, spirits, and even the dead…and Manta Oyamada’s about to learn all about them, because his class just welcomed a new transfer student: Yoh Asakura, a boy from way off in Izumo…and a shaman in training!
