It’s the end of an era today, as the cult classic manga Seitokai Yakuindomo has published its final chapter. Tozen Ujiie launched the four-panel slice-of-life comedy series back in 2007, so today’s final chapter in the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine closes the curtain on an impressive run.
To mark the occasion, Japan’s most successful cosplayer, Enako, graced the cover of the magazine in costume and showed off more of her skills on some insert pages.

And the manga’s title page, which expresses the emotions the author has over the series concluding.
The Seitokai Yakuindomo manga started in Kodansha’s Magazine Special before moving to Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2008. It has inspired two TV anime series, two OVA series, and a pair of anime films, the last of which opened in Japanese theaters on January 1, 2021.
The final volume hits stores in Japan in January 2022.
