We’ve got some fresh updates for the Maousama, Retry! TV anime, which adapts the isekai fantasy series written by Kurone Kanzaki and illustrated by Makoto Iino. The story centers on an ordinary guy who gets transported into a video game, where he takes on the role of a Demon Lord, and it’s set to premiere in Japan this July.
The main staff behind the series includes director Hiroshi Kimura, series composition writer Ohka Tanizaki, and character designer Chiyo Nakayama, who is adapting Iino’s original designs at anime studio EKACHI EPILKA. Kenjiro Tsuda leads the cast as Hakuto Kunai/Akira Ohno, joined by Kanon Takao as the village girl Aku and Kaori Ishihara as the youngest sister of the Three Saints, Luna Elegant.
