If you’re keen to see how the new Secrets of the Silent Witch anime—based on the novels written by Matsuri Isora and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi—kicks off, Aniplex has you covered. A new video made its way online this week to preview three minutes from the first episode, and there’s also a new cast member and special artwork to go along with it.

Secrets of the Silent Witch Episode 1 Preview
The new cast member is Ai Kayano, who will voice Claudia. We also learned more about the opening song, which has Hitsujibungaku performing “Feel.” The series premieres in full starting July 4.

Takaomi Kanasaki is chief director for the anime, with Yasuo Iwamoto directing and Cona Nitanda adapting character designs for the Studio Gokumi production. We recently saw another new cast addition for the series with the announcement of Yuki Sakakihara as Neil Clay Maywood.
