Second Love Live! Nijigasaki Film Teased for Winter 2025

Second Love Live! Nijigasaki Film Teased for Winter 2025The second film in the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club trilogy has a release window: winter 2025.

That news comes alongside a new piece of key art and teaser trailer for the film. A concert and fan meeting tour, as well as a new novel game, have also been announced, though there aren’t many details yet.

The first film in the series was released on September 6 of this year. The trilogy will conclude the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club story, which kicked off in 2020 with the first season of the anime series. A second season followed in 2023, as did a manga and an original video animation called Next Sky.

Here’s how the official website describes Nijigasaki:

Nijigasaki High School, located on the island of Odaiba in Tokyo, is popular for its variety of class subjects and the freedom given to students. Second-year student Yu Takasaki has been turned on to the charms of school idols, so she knocks on the door of the “School Idol Club” with her old friend Ayumu Uehara. Sometimes friends, sometimes rivals, the members of this club each bring their own thoughts and motivations to their lives. “If I can cheer on people who’re pursuing their dreams…” “The first School Idol Project featuring twelve girls (plus one) where everyone comes together to make dreams come true.” “Let my sound reach you!” It’s time to chase after your dreams again!

The films are directed by Tomoyuki Kawamura, who also helmed the series.
