Second Love Live! Nijigasaki Film Drops Key Art

Second Love Live! Nijigasaki Film Drops Key ArtWe’ve got a fresh look at the upcoming Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club film, the second in the trilogy, thanks to a new piece of key art released this weekend.

We’ve also got news that concerts will be held on January 17 and 18, 2026, featuring performers from the series.

The second Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club film will hit Japanese theaters this November 7.

The first film in the series was released on September 6, 2024. The trilogy concludes the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club story, which kicked off in 2020 with the first season of the anime series. A second season followed in 2023, as did a manga and an original video animation called Next Sky.

Here’s how the official website describes Nijigasaki:

Nijigasaki High School, located on the island of Odaiba in Tokyo, is popular for its variety of class subjects and the freedom given to students. Second-year student Yu Takasaki has been turned on to the charms of school idols, so she knocks on the door of the “School Idol Club” with her old friend Ayumu Uehara. Sometimes friends, sometimes rivals, the members of this club each bring their own thoughts and motivations to their lives. “If I can cheer on people who’re pursuing their dreams…” “The first School Idol Project featuring twelve girls (plus one) where everyone comes together to make dreams come true.” “Let my sound reach you!” It’s time to chase after your dreams again!

The films are directed by Tomoyuki Kawamura, who also helmed the series.
