Rust-Eater Bisco is Hungry for Action in New Anime Trailer

More information has arrived for the Rust-Eater Bisco anime, based on the post-apocalyptic sci-fi light novel series written by Shinji Cobkubo and illustrated by K Akagishi and mocha. In addition to the opening and ending theme song performers, we now know the Japanese TV schedule and have a new trailer to soak in ahead of the premiere.

JUNNA is on the opening theme song, “Kaze no Oto sae Kikoenai” (“I Can’t Even Hear the Sound of the Wind”), with Ryota Suzuki (Bisco) and Natsuki Hanae (Milo) performing the ending theme, “Houkou” (“Howl”), as their respective characters

The Rust-Eater Bisco anime will debut on TOKYO MX on January 10, 2022, followed by Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation a little later on the same date and BS11 on January 12. Check out the new trailer below.

In the far future, a disaster known as the “Rusty Wind” has transformed the majority of Japan into a barren desert and left civilization in tatters. After his teacher falls prey to the rust, the roguish Bisco Akahoshi embarks on journey through the sandy wastes to obtain a mushroom known only as the Rust Eater, rumored to cure the ailment. Together with the dashing young doctor Milo, the pair will have to contend with the unforgiving environment and their fellow wanderers in order to make it back alive.
