Rumor: Director Chosen for Voltron Adaptation?

I thought this one was dead in the water, and anyone reading this should also get their skeptical salt shaker ready. Word on the electronic street is that New Regency has chosen a director to helm the Voltron film, and that man might be Max Makowski. Though the name of the man behind 2005’s One Last Dance may not ring any bells, this newcomer is also working on a couple other projects that will: Kung Fu (from the 70’s series) and Shinobi.

All of these anime adaptations have me excited, perhaps in all the wrong ways, but excited nonetheless. If this director pick turns out to be bogus, we’ll update the story and let you all know. I’ve got my eye on you, Voltron!
