Rooster Fighter Anime Revealed

VIZ Media had a big news drop during its San Diego Comic-Con panel today with the reveal that a Rooster Fighter anime is in the works. There’s no release date at the time of this writing, but it was confirmed that the anime will air on Adult Swim, with “further streaming platforms” to be announced soon.

The Rooster Fighter anime is based on the manga of the same name by Shu Sakuratani. The manga first started its run via Hero Inc.’s Comiplex manga website and has been collected in seven volumes so far.

Studio Sanzigen has been announced as the production house for this one, with Daisuke Suzuki directing and Hiroshi Seko handling series composition. You can see a teaser trailer, visual and a celebratory illustration from the original author while we wait for more info below.
