Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi is a romantic comedy manga by Aya Hirakawa, and it’s officially getting an anime adaptation. Aniplex made the announcement this week along with a teaser visual from the creator of the manga.
The Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi has been running in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine since December 2021, with volume 10 coming up next in Japan on July 18. Beyond the visual below, there isn’t much more in the way of information on the anime, so stay tuned for further details.
The story of Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi follows Yuu Ayase, who the Mikadono family takes in after his mother, a well-known actor, passes away. Now Ayase finds himself surrounded by three prodigy sisters, as if living up to his mother’s legacy wasn’t already tough enough as it is. Things take a turn for the rom-com when the sisters—actor Kazuki, martial artist Niko and shogi player Miwa—begin to develop feelings for Ayase.
