Next up for an anime adaptation is Yuuji Nakamura’s romantic comedy manga Rokudo no Onna-tachi, which originally ran in the pages of Weekly Shonen Champion from June 2016 to April 2021. 26 volumes were collected in all, and the TV anime is currently scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX and other stations throughout Japan this April.
Keiya Saitou is directing, with Yuichiro Momose on series composition and Shinya Segawa leading character designs at anime production house Satelight. Other staff members include Hideaki Onishi as sub character designer, Hiroyuki Taiga as mechanical designer, Yasuyoshi Uetsu and Tomoaki Chishima as prop designers, Kenichi Tajiri as art director and Hiroshi Yamamoto as sound director, among others.
Among the cast revealed thus far we have Gen Sato as Tosuke Rokudo, Sumire Uesaka as Ranna Himawari, Naomi Ozora as Sayuri Osanada, Yuki Yomichi as Azami Himeno, Misato Matsuoka as Tsubaki, Hitomi Sekine as Mizue Tsuyukusa and Haruki Ishiya as Haruya Iinuma.
