Rinkai! Reveals More Voice Actors for Women’s Cycling Anime


If you’re looking for some women’s cycling action in your anime, you’ll want to direct your eyes toward Rinkai!. The show recently debuted as part of a mixed media project that includes a manga adaptation by Kiyoshi Yamane, and the latest update has three cast members getting in on the fun.

The new cast members include Yukari Anzai as Chigiri Toyohashi, Miho Morisaki as Suzu Matsuzaka and Yuka Ozaki as Sora Iwakidaira. Here’s a look at their respective designs.

The Rinkai! anime is directed by Takaaki Ishiyama (Chaos;HEAd), with Hideki Shirane (The Duke of Death and His Maid) on series composition, Hiromi Ono on character designs and Shuichiro Fukuhiro, Yoshiyasu Ueda and Mana Hirano on music for the production at TMS Entertainment’s No.6 studio.

The series has been licensed by Ani-One Asia, which describes the story like so:

A high-school girl Ito, captivated by women’s bicycle racing “Girls Keirin,” enters a training school and has a fateful encounter with Hiratsuka, who becomes both their lifelong rival and close friend. They practice and compete together, to realize their dream, to win the top title of Keirin athlete, “Girls’ Fresh Queens”!
