Originally announced back in January 2024, the Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits anime adaptation now has a premiere month. The series, which brings writer Matsuura and illustrator keepout’s light novel series to the screen, will debut this October.
You can see what the folks at J.C.Staff are cooking up with the help of director Toshinori Fukushima and writer Toko Machida in the new teaser trailer below.
The original Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits novel series ran from 2016 to 2020, and the manga adaptation by Yutaka Ohhori kicked off in 2018.
An English version of Ohhori’s manga adaptation is available through Square Enix’s Manga UP! Global service, which describes the story like so:
“I became the spirit of elements when I reincarnated?!”
Ellen is a young girl reincarnated from modern-day Japan as a half-spirit. Her father, Rovel, is the legendary hero who saved the kingdom, and her mother, Origin, is the primordial queen and ruler of all spirits. Furthermore, she herself has the overpowered ability to manipulate the elements.
While looking absolutely adorable, this perfect little girl will fall back on her past life’s knowledge and the power of the spirits to protect her precious family!
