Cellphone gaming company Cybird has announced the release of its new Drama CD, Ikemen Ooku Volume 1. This CD is based on the popular love story game geared toward women.
Ikemen, short for “iketeru men,” translates to “nice looking guys.” Ooku refers to the private section of Edo Castle where the Shogun’s wife, daughters, and female maids lived.
This CD reverses historical roles and puts a female in place of the Shogun and men as the occupants of the Ooku. The female Shogun, called “Iemitsu,” will have dramatic love situations and conflicts with Ikemen.
A special feature and popular draw to the Drama CD series are the voice actors themselves. You can go to the Ikemen Drama CD site and click the square icon underneath the characters to hear their sexy voices.
Cybird will release Volume 2 in March, Volume 3 in April, and Volume 4 in May.
