Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi Gets Anime Adaptation

ponsuka

Known as PonSuka for short, Takuma Yokota’s Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi manga is officially coming to the screen. The title can be translated as The Story Between a Dumb Prefect and a High School Girl with an Inappropriate Skirt Length, and we’ll also see how it translates to a TV anime when it arrives at some point in the future.

As for when that is, we’ll have to wait to find out. For now, we at least know that Zero-G is handling production, with Daiji Iwanaga (episodes of My First Girlfriend is a Gal) directing and Yo Himuro (Delicious in Dungeon sub character setting) handling character designs.

That’s about all there is beyond the teaser art above and a newly-launched official website.

As the title implies, the story follows a boy—the “dumb prefect” in question—who isn’t quite as smart or clever as he appears, and a girl who isn’t quite as troublesome or incapable as she appears.
