Based on the manga by Mikihisa Konishi, Petals of Reincarnation is an upcoming anime that HIDIVE is co-producing. The first trailer arrived this week to line it up for a 2026 premiere while showing off some of the main cast and staff behind it.

Shoya Chiba voices Toya Senji

Wakana Maruoka voices Haito Luo Buffett

Ayane Sakura voices John V Neumann

Shun Kudo (Grendizer U) directs, with Atsuo Ishino (The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor) on series composition, Haruna Kato on character designs and Kohta Yamamoto on music for the Benten Film production. For those keeping score, Benten Film is the recently-coined new name of the studio formerly known as Gaina.

Written and illustrated by Mikihisa Konishi, Petals of Reincarnation is a supernatural action manga about Touya Senji, a talentless high school student who comes to discovers that talent is gained not from learning but rather a previous life—and only by self-inflicted death and the supernatural aid of the “Stem of Reincarnation.”
