The trailer features a taste of the theme song by band Ling Tosite Sigure.

The novels by Baku Yumemakura kicked off in 1986, and follow a fictionalized version of a Heian-period master of cosmology called onmyojo. The most recent Onmyoji book came out in 2021. Aside from the anime, the books have been adapted into manga, live-action series, movies and video games.

The anime is directed by Soubi Yamamoto and produced by studio Marvy Jack. It’s set to hit the ‘flix on November 28.
