New Puzzle & Dragons TV Anime Announced

The Puzzle & Dragons franchise has something special in store with the reveal of a new TV anime. Studio Pierrot is in charge of production for Pazudora, which is set to premiere on TV Tokyo and other affiliates in Japan this April.

The news came from a Pazudora Project 2018 media event, which also revealed the story and some of the cast and staff members. Asuna Tomari takes the lead as Taiga, with Tetsuya Kakihara in the role of his friend Dragon. The story follows Taiga as he aims for the top of the professional gaming world.

Puzzle & Dragons X director Hajime Kamegaki returns to direct this one, and Duel Masters Cross writer Shinzo Fujita is handling scripts. In addition to these details, the event also provided the debut promo below.
