New Japanese Trailer for Tetsuo the Bullet Man
Shinya Tsukamoto’s return to his roots, Tetsuo the Bullet Man, has received some less than positive critical reactions so far. That shouldn’t stop anyone from checking out the latest trailer, and I’m really hoping it’s more a case of a film being divisive, which to me tends to be a good thing.
Despite the strange English dialogue, the flavor of the original 1989 Tetsuo: The Iron Man—which is still one of the wildest and creepiest Japanese flicks out there—seems intact here. I have faith in Tsukamoto and his meticulous nature, so here’s hoping!
