Mayonaka Punch Anime Reveals New Teaser, Hits July 8P.A. Works has a new original anime series on the way called Mayonaka Punch (Midnight Punch), and we’ve got some fresh deets. First off, we’ve learned when the series is set to hit screens: July 8.

We’ve also got a fresh teaser for the series, which gives us an aural sampling of its opening and ending themes: “Gimi Gimi” and “Hashu-ten.”

Finally, it’s been revealed that Chika Anzai and Reina Kondo are joining the cast as Kikka and Otomi.

Mayonaka Punch is about a NewTubers who makes a deal with a vampire: one million followers in exchange for her blood.

The series is being directed by Shu Honma, with Hideaki Shirasaki on scripts and Ryota Arima adapting Tsukasa Kotobuki’s original character designs. In addition to the P.A. Works anime, Mayonaka Punch will also receive a manga and novel adaptation, with the former coming from Tomomi Usui and running in Kadokawa’s Monthly Young Ace magazine starting this March.
