A release month has been revealed for the anime adaptation of Mahjong Soul Online, which is a game developed by Cat Food Studio and managed by YoStar. SCOOTER FILMS will produce the anime—titled Jong-Tama Pong☆—with director Kenshiro Morii (Anime-Gataris, BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!) at the helm.

Look for the anime to premiere this April.

Mahjong Soul first made its debut in China back in 2018 as a browser game, followed by a release in Japan in 2019. Other news on the adaptation is light at the moment, so stay tuned for more!
