An anime adaptation was announced for Kazuki Kaburagi and Kurui’s Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata manga in July, and since then some character trailers have been rolling in. Following up on a character video focusing on Sion, the 2025-due series then turned its attention toward Marie, as voiced in the anime by Ai Kakuma.

Here’s the earlier Sion trailer:
Rent-a-Girlfriend director Kazuomi Koga is at the helm for this one, with Keiichiro Ochi (Go! Go! Loser Ranger!) on series composition, Takayuki Noguchi (The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody) on character designs and Kei Yoshikawa and Kana Hashiguchi on music for the Studio DEEN production.
Cast members include Megumi Han (Gon in Hunter x Hunter) as Sion and Ai Kakuma (Eris Boreas Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) as Marie.
The Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata plot follows Marie and Sion, a pair of siblings from a minor noble family. After asking his father about magic one day to a confused response, Sion and Marie end up going on their own adventure to learn more about it.
