December 3, 2008 The next volley of Kingdom Hearts games is beginning to rear its head on the horizon, and the first attack is this week’s release of Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories, a Playstation 2 remake of the Game Boy Advance title. Bigger news, however, is the impending arrival of the Nintendo DS title, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, which Square Enix has officially confirmed for the U.S.
This portable story set in the wildly popular Disney/Square mish-mash universe concerns Roxas, and promises to shed some light on the connection between him and other characters like chief protagonist Sora. 358/2 Days is scheduled for release in Japan in February 2009, but no firm date for its US release has been set at this point. Expect to hear more about this as the overseas release draws nearer, and we’ll try to keep you up to date on that and the rest of the KH onslaught to come.
