Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabenai

As revealed on NHK’s official anime website, a TV anime adaptation is officially in the works for Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabenai, a fantasy novel written by Chisato Abe. The series is currently planned for a premiere sometime in 2024.

Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabenai slots in as the second of Abe’s Yatagarasu series. Kodansha’s K MANGA service publishes the English version of the Karasu ni Hitoe wa Niawanai manga adaptation’s first volume. The teaser visual above features protagonist Yukiya, and you can see a vertical version below.

The series follows Yukiya, who is chosen to serve at the side of a beautiful and eccentric prince named Nazukihiko. The two form a master-servant relationship of sorts as they deal with intrigue and other strange situations within the palace.
