Yoroida’s #Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elf manga has had two adaptations announced simultaneously. Not only is the series getting a live-action TV drama, but there’s also a light anime adaptation in the works.
The live-action #Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elf drama is up first, starting on September 30 in Japan. Oolongta Yoshida writes and directs the series, which stars the following:
- Sion Yoshitaka as Yokohama Elf
- Ryotaro Akazawa as Kawasaki Human
- Teruhisa Takura as Yokosuka Elf
- Junya Asada as Chigasaki Elf
- Rio Hatakeyama as Sagamihara Elf
- Ryuga Akahane as Machida Orc
As for the light anime, that one is set to arrive this December, with the cast, staff and more information to be announced at a later date.
#Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elf follows a community of elves forced out of their home after a forest fire. Now they live among humans in Kanagawa Prefecture, and the series tells the story of the group along with other elves, humans and creatures living throughout the region.
