Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night Anime Trailer Reveals More Details, Premiere Date

Previously just set for sometime in 2024, we now know exactly when to expect the original TV anime series Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night. The latest from the folks at Doga Kobo is set for April 6, and you can see more in the new trailer below, which also reveals more of the cast and staff behind it, as well as the theme songs.

The latest voice cast members to get in on the series are:

Sumire Uesaka as Miiko:

Miho Okasaki as Mero Seto:

Yukina Shuto as Momoko Yanagi:

Sally Amaki as Akari Suzumura:

Additional staff members include sub-character designers Chiaki Nakajima and Shuri, costume designers Shino Kuzuhara and Shoko Nagasawa, prop designer Miyu Hattori, art director Yuji Kaneko, color designer Kei Ishiguro, compositing director of photography Takafumi Kuwano, and editor Kashiko Kimura, with Akihiro Hirasawa on art setting.

The opening theme will be “Irodori” by KanoeRana and the ending theme will be “Ichi-nichi wa 25-jikan” by Anna Tsurushima.

Ryohei Takeshita (Eromanga Sensei) is directing the project, with Yuki Yaku (the author of the Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki light novels) on scripts and popman3580 creating the original character designs that Junichiro Taniguchi (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story) is adapting into anime.
