A new original anime titled Grow Up Show: Himawari no Circus-dan (Grow Up Show: Sunflower Circus Troupe) is on the way from A-1 Pictures. Aniplex announced the production this week, featuring director Kenta Kamei (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend) at the helm.

The project is set to “open” in 2026. We’ll have to wait for all the details, but in the meantime you can see the announcement video and more of what we know so far below.

We don’t know what the format of the anime is yet, but we do know some of the additional staff. Kurehito Misaki of the Saekano light novels provides original character designs, with Takeshi Kikuchi (Skeleton Knight in Another World) writing.
