GoHands’ Momentary Lily Anime Set for January 2 Debut

The Momentary Lily anime has Studio GoHands whipping up an original anime, and now a start date is in place. As revealed in a new main trailer, the series will kick off its run on TV and various streaming services in Japan on January 2, 2025.

You can see more of what’s on the way—including a peek at the opening song, “Oishii Survivor” by HANABIE., and the ending song, “Real” by miwa—in the video below.

The main cast includes Natsuko Abe as Yuri Kawatsu, Tsugumi Sakuragi as Erika Kodaiji, Shion Wakayama as Hinageshi Usuzumi, Manatsu Murakami as Renge Kasumi, Misaki Kuno as Sazanka Yoshino and Miyuri Shimabukuro as Ayame Sakuya.

Shingo Suzuki is chief director and character designer for Momentary Lily, which also has Susumu Kudo and Katsumasa Yokomine as directors, Tamazo Yanagi as writer, Hiroshi Okubo as mechanical designer and Ryosuke Kojima as music composer.

The opening theme song will be HANABIE.’s “Oishii Survivor” and the series is currently set to start airing sometime in January 2025. Some of GoHands previous work includes KThe Masterful Cat is Depressed Again Today and The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses.

The studio is also working on the anime adaptation of Nekoko’s fantasy web novel series The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System.
