Yu Saito’s Giji Harem manga is coming to the screen in an anime adaptation, and the debut is right around the corner. The official website confirmed plans for a July 4, 2024 premiere, while also revealing a new trailer, additional cast members and more.
Here’s the new trailer, which introduces the latest cast members and previews the ending theme song, “Ad Lib,” as performed by Saori Hayami in character as Rin Nanakura.

The latest cast members to get in on the fun include Junichi Suwabe as Motokuni Nakayama, Koji Yusa as Tsuguto Iwata, Maria Abo as Megu and Minako Sato as Kiri Shirasawa.
The Giji Harem anime adaptation will star Saori Hayami (Yor in SPY x FAMILY) as Rin Nanakura and Nobuhiko Okamoto (Sengoku in Horimiya) as Eiji Kitahama. The story centers on Rin as she attempts to get the attention of her drama club senpai.
Toshihiro Kikuchi is directing the anime, with Yuuko Kakihara on scripts and Yoshihisa Sato on character designs for the Nomad production.
The Giji Harem manga first started as a webcomic on Twitter from June 2019 to March 2021, garnering 5.6 million likes along the way. A serialized version ran in Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine and the series has been collected in six volumes.
