For the first of the final four Friday ACE episodes, Mike’s live (and ALIVE!) in Madison, WI?! Can he survive the eye of the political storm that is his home state?!

So here we are at the first of the final four Friday ACE episodes before the hiatus. I know I didn’t comment on the episode with the announcement, I’m actually going to reserve the full reasons why I’m taking the break for a full blog entry once things have cleared up. (And to alleviate any worries, no, this doesn’t involve any behind-the-scenes drama.) That being said, I’d always wanted to do a live-on-location episode of the podcast since the early days. It was an unstable, chaotic challenge, but I think I did well for my first time out! When the show returns, I plan on doing a couple of convention based ones which may prove to be more interesting than wandering through a political hotspot.

Before I go, two bits of housekeeping…

-ViViD’s’ “Yume~Mugen no Kanata~” is actually their major debut! I confused them with another visual kei band that was breaking up. (Can you blame me for being unable to tell them apart at times, though?)

-The site I mentioned at the end: protectfinancialaid.org—I’m not one to push my opinions on people, nor am I totally political, but this is something that affects me and most of the people I know who are currently fighting the good academic fight. Sign the petition and help us out?
