Sometimes you just have to ask yourself the question: “What if this story featured cats instead of people?” That’s a question pandania’s Neko Mukashibanashi (Cat Folk Tales) manga dares to both ask and answer. Now those answers will be on display in a different way thanks to a recently-announced anime adaptation titled Ugoku! Neko Mukashibanashi (Moving! Cat Folk Tales).

Right now all we know about the anime is that it will be streaming online. The manga series covers a range of classic stories featuring cats, from Momotaro to Cinderella and beyond. Story origins range from ancient to modern, too, so there’s a wide breadth of source material to pull from for the adaptation.

For now, we’ll have to wait to find out more about when the series will debut and other details.
