Flower and Asura Anime Trailer Reveals January 2025 Debut

An anime adaptation was previously announced for Ayano Takeda and Musshu’s Flower and Asura manga, and now a premiere date has been confirmed along with the release of a new trailer. The slice-of-life adaptation will officially start its broadcast in Japan in January 2025, so while we wait, let’s check out the new preview below.

Ayumu Uwano directs the Flower and Asura anime, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Do It Yourself!!) on series composition, Ko Aine on character designs and Masaru Yokoyama (Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night) on music for the Studio Bind production.

The story follows first-year high school student Hana Haruyama, who loves reciting literary works aloud. Second-year student Mizuki Usurai invites Hana to join the school’s broadcasting club, under the belief that Hana’s readings are capable of attracting the attention of an audience.
