Farming Life in Another World Anime Goes to Work in January 2023

A January 2023 release has been locked in for the TV anime adaptation of Kinosuke Naito’s Farming Life in Another World light novel series, which also lined up staff members and revealed a new teaser visual. Ryoichi Kuraya (Tsugumomo) is on tap to direct, with Touko Machida (Lucky Star) on series composition and Yoshiki Saito (Assassins Pride) as chief animation director and character designer for the Zero-G production.

Pony Canyon is producing the anime’s music, which Yasuharu Takanishi (Fairy Tail) and Johannes Nilsson (Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-) are composing. Check out the teaser visual below.

The Farming Life in Another World novels first kicked off on the Shosetsuka ni Naro (Let’s Become a Novelist) website, and currently sits at 11 volumes and over two million copies in circulation. There’s also a manga adaptation that has Yasuyuki Tsurugi illustrating based on Yasumo’s novel designs, and One Peace Books publishes the series in English.

One Peace Books publishes the original light novels in English and describes them like so:
