The results are in for Japan’s 2018 karaoke song rankings, and the number one song in the anime/tokusatsu/game category should come as no surprise. Taking the top spot is Neon Genesis Evangelion theme song “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis,” which is up three spots from last year and at number one for the first time in five years.
The rankings come from Nagoya-based company XING, which used its online karaoke service JOYSOUND to tally the top tunes jammed between January 1 and November 30. Here’s the rest of the songs in the category, along with where they previously ranked, via Crunchyroll.
