Don’t Forget: Thursdays are Toei Spider-Man Days

Last week marked something that many didn’t see coming out of the blue. Marvel started a weekly online run of the legendary Toei Spider-Man show, a tokusatsu series that ran in Japan from 1978-1979. Of course, it’s not exactly well-known for its accuracy, and holds more notoriety for weaving tokusatsu standards into the Spider-Man character, whose similarity to Peter Parker begins and ends with the famous red and blue suit.
