After previously being lined up for July 2024, the Delico’s Nursery anime has been hit with a delay. Based on the 2009 TRUMP stage play by Kenichi Suemitsu, the series will now premiere in August.

According to the announcement, the delay was put in place due to “production-related reasons.” The staff expressed apologies to fans who were looking forward to the initial broadcast plans, and told everyone to stay tuned for updated schedule details.

Delico’s Nursery has Hiroshi Nishikori (Azumanga Daioh) directing and Kenichi Suemitsu handling scripts and series composition for the J.C. Staff production. Yoko Ito is on character designs—based on the original designs by Koya—and chief animation direction.

Synopsis:

In the past, the vampire race that ruled over the land had the power of immortality. In the present day, this power has been lost and the world has been divided into two groups: the now-mortal vampire race and the human race that coincides with their limited life-span. However, it is said that somewhere in this world exists one sole Vampire that still has eternal life. TRUE OF VAMP: The originator of Vamps. Connecting the first and last letters, people called the origins of the vampire race “TRUMP.”
