Spike Chunsoft was already cooking up a new PlayStation 4 and PS Vita game in the Danganronpa visual novel series, but even more related content was confirmed at a project announcement event in Tokyo. In addition to PS4/Vita game New Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shingakki (A New Semester for Everyone’s Killing Life), a new TV anime series is in the works for 2016.
The new anime series is Danganronpa 3 -The End of Kibougamine Gakuen-, which is billed as the final chapter of the “Kibougamine Gakuen” series. Danganronpa: The Animation director Seiji Kishi (Assassination Classroom) will be chief director, with Norimitsu Kaihou (Gunslinger Strators) on series composition and both Kazuaki Morita (Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu) and Ryoko Amisaki (Issho ni Training) on character designs.
