As exciting as all the new licenses we hear about are, sometimes it’s refreshing to see some classic stuff put back into the active retail roster. For those already duly titillated by such a statement, Diskotek Media are your heroes of the day.

Their latest licensing announcements on the anime front include the Galaxy Express 999 and Adieu Galaxy Express 999 movies, as well as the original Project AKO movie.

On the live-action side of things, we’ve got Princess Blade and Aquarian Age to look forward to.

I personally couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to own the 999 releases on DVD, two of my favorite movies. Anyone else out there pumped about Diskotek’s announcements?
