Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukai-kata Isekai Light Novels Land Anime

As revealed at the MF Books Label 8th Anniversary Web Special Program!, the Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukai-kata: Senjou o Kakeru Kaifuku Youin ((How Not to Use Healing Magic: Recovery Team Running Through the Battlefield) series of isekai light novels by Kurokata is getting an anime adaptation. There isn’t much in the way of further information, but for now we at least know it’s in the works.

The Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukai-kata series started its run on Japanese user-generated website Shousetsukani Narou in March of 2014, and the print version ran for 12 volumes with illustrations by KeG from March 2016 to March 2020. There’s also a manga adaptation with illustrations by Reki Kugayama thats been running since June 2017.

Here’s what novel author Kurokata had to say about the news:

“I’m very happy to announce that ‘Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta’ will be made into an anime!I’m so overwhelmed with emotions that I’m at a loss for words…, but first of all, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the readers who have supported us until today…!”

Illustrator KeG commented, as well:

“I’m still surprised because I got the news only a few days ago! It’s been more than a year since the novel ended, but I guess this kind of things can happen…”
