Batman Ninja Anime Film Takes the Dark Knight to Feudal Japan

If the new trailer for anime feature Batman Ninja is any indication, maybe DC should just hand off its film efforts to Japan. This one appropriately finds the Dark Knight and the rest of the Batman heroes and villains transported back to Japan’s Sengoku period, with Koichi Yamadera leading the cast as Batman against Wataru Takagi’s Joker.

Batman Ninja comes from production house Kamikaze Douga, and features Jumpei Mizusaki as director, with Kazuki Nakashima on the script, Takashi Okazaki on character designs, and Yuugo Kano on music. Other cast members include Ai Kakuma as Catwoman and Rie Kugimiya as Harley Quinn, and you can see Batman take on the Joker in feudal Japan in the trailers below.
