Back in January it was revealed that Michiro Ueyama’s Akuyaku Reijo Tensei Oji-san manga is getting an anime adaptation, and now we have more info. In addition to a new teaser trailer, the official website unveiled the main staff and cast behind it, as well as plans for the series to premiere in January 2025.

The main cast includes:
- Kazuhiko Inoue (Dusty Attemborough in The Legend of the Galactic Heroes) as Kenzaburo Tondabayashi
- M.A.O. (Hikari Yagami in Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning) as Grace Auvergne
Tetsuya Takeuchi (Yuri Seijin Naoko-san) is directing, with Shingo Irie (Golden Kamuy) overseeing scripts, Haruka Matsunae (Ascendance of a Bookworm) designing characters, Yuki Miyamoto designing monsters and Natsumi Tabuchi, Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka, Reiko Abe and Kaho Sawada on music for the Ajiado production.
The manga, whose title translates to something like “A Middle-Aged Dude Who Gets Reincarnated as a Villainess,” currently has six volumes out in Japan. It’s about, well, a middle-aged dude who gets reincarnated as a villainess. Specifically, Grace Auvergne, the daughter of a duke who’s attending an elite omote game-like academy in another dimension.
