A NEW DAWN is an original anime film that’s being made as a Japanese/French co-production between companies Asmik Ace and Miyu Productions. Garden of Words and Your Name. background artist Yoshitoshi Shinomiya is writing and directing the film and providing the original work, with Utsushita of Minakata Laboratory on character designs, Akiko Majima on art direction and Shuta Hasunuma on music.
According to the announcement, the film is centered on a fireworks factory called Taitou Fireworks, which is about to close and be kicked out of the place it has been doing business from for the past 330 years. The story follows three young people who have spent their lives living around the factory and their encounter with a legendary “phantom fireworks shop” known as Shuhari.
