A Look Inside the Go Nagai Museum

Now here’s something that easily tops the list of places we all need to visit as soon as possible. The Go Nagai Wonderland Museum was opened in the City of Wajima (of which, while not currently living there, Nagai is a native) this month, and one intrepid blogger has documented a visit via both video and photos. The renovation of an empty store cost about US$1.3 million, and it currently contains 114 pieces of original art and a 2-meter-tall Mazinger Z statue.

As if the planets were aligned, there’s also a video tour of the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum here. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to start planning some trips.
