a condition called love

A new teaser trailer is here for the A Condition Called Love anime, based on the manga by Megumi Morino. This one takes the opportunity to reveal and preview the opening theme song, which will be “Kimi no Sei” by Sexy Zone. Check it out below along with some more footage from the April-due adaptation.

There’s also a new visual:

The main staff consists of director Tomoe Makino (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai), series composition writer Hitomi Amamiya (Chillin’ in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King’s Army), character designer Akiko Sato (TRIGUN STAMPEDE) and composer yamazo (The Legendary Hero is Dead!), with animation production by East Fish Studio.

Kodansha USA publishes the A Condition Called Love manga in English and sums up the story like so:

Hotaru is a 16-year-old high school first-year who has always been ambivalent about love, preferring instead to have a lively life with her family and friends. So when she sees her schoolmate, Hananoi-kun, sitting in the snow after a messy, public breakup, she thinks nothing of offering to share her umbrella. But when he asks her out in the middle of her classroom the next day, she can’t help but feel that her life is about to change in a big way…
