Following up on the announcement that was made earlier this year, more details have surfaced for the anime adaptation of the Even a Replica Can Fall in Love series. Based on the light novels written by Harunadon and illustrated by raemz, the anime is set to premiere sometime in 2026, and you can see the first teaser trailer and more below.

Key visual:

Sumire Morohoshi (Emma in THE PROMISED NEVERLAND) voices Sunao Aikawa and her Replicant, Nao. You can see art for both below, respectively.

There’s also some art from light novel illustrator raemz:

Ryuichi Kimura directs, with Tomoko Shinozuka on series composition—collaborating with Misaki Morie on scripts—and Eiji Abiko on character designs for the Voil production.
Yen Press publishes the series in English and describes the story:
Even a Replica Can Fall in Love Plot
When she doesn’t feel well, when there’s a test, when she doesn’t want to go to school… I take her place. I’m her replica. I’m not meant for anything else. But that changed when I fell in love. I wear my hair up so the boy I fell for knows it’s me. We skip school and promise to meet again tomorrow, and every day after. I’m her replica. Everything about me is borrowed and empty, but my heart is mine.
