DIGIMON BEATBREAK Release Date Announced Along with More Cast and Staff

DIGIMON BEATBREAK

More details have arrived for the DIGIMON BEATBREAK anime, which was first unveiled back in March. The series is set to premiere in Japan on October 5, and more cast and staff have been unveiled ahead of that thanks to the new trailer below.

Hiroaki Miyamoto, who previously directed One Piece during episodes 352-679, is at the helm for this one. Ryota Yamaguchi (Sailor Moon) is on series composition, Takahiro Kojima is on character designs, Kenji Watanabe handles Digimon design and Arisa Okehazama composes music for the Toei Animation production.

The story is described like so:

DIGIMON BEATBREAK Plot

“e-Pulse,” which is generated by human thoughts and emotions, was used as the energy source for the AI support device “Sapotama.” From the shadows of this remarkable development, terrifying monsters appear. Digimon are living beings that evolve by consuming e-Pulse. Tomoro Tenma is drawn into an extraordinary experience after meeting Gekkomon, who suddenly appears from his Sapotama. While living together with Kyo Sawashiro and other members of the bounty hunting team “Golden Dawn,” Tomoro renews his resolve. What new future will be forged by humans and Digimon?
